Valentine's day is really too over-rated , i agree. Because everyday should be Valentines day ,no? Not only for couples but amongst our family and friends , especially ourselves as well. Gotta love yourself first before you love others, ain't that right!

But we celebrated it anyway! heees. This might shock you, but after almost 3 years of being together, this is the first time we've both celebrated teh VDAY with each other. Previous 2 years was always on the phone or the Webcam ..

So anyways, this gave us a HUGE excuese or reason to celebrate this over-rated day without feeling guilty :p Started off the day with an interview with this Company called Ogilvy that i've been dying to intern at! And i'm happy to say that i've got the Job!!!!! :D And this calls for a celebration doesn't it?

Where else better to celebrate than, my love for the Dim sum at Crystal Jade!

It was a very Simple Valentines, i feel events are much nicer kept Simple and sweet. We celebrated it over just...FOOD! hahhhaha we actually had a long weekend together and our
Vday consisted of Meeting up gambling with friends, ZOUK KL and Dai Chao and Dim Sum!

Talking about Zouk... TYSERN! IF URE READING THIS. I'm sorry for getting SO drunk and out of hand. hahaha But thanks for taking care of me and helping me out. You're a really great friend and i'm glad to have met you :)

ok back where i was......... Yes. FOOD! We had dinner at Jacks place only because i love the garlic bread and Escargots there!!! It's to die for!!!

We were soooooooooo mesmerised by the taste of the Escargot, we forgot to take pictures
of our MAIN COURSE! Yes it's that awesome! Haha! But no really, we just forgot :( Here's
whats left of it when we remembered.

Tah-Dah! That'st about it, but seriously it's true when people say they Jack up the prices by 30%. They have a specific menu for Valentines, which You DIE DIE must chose between 3 sets or don't eat there. And the 3 sets are all priced between 40 to 70 lor!

TMD! Daylight robbery!
NO MOAR NEXT YEAR! Hmph!

P/s: Another thing to announce is that, i'll be heading off to Melbourne for further studies July this year. Don't know to Laugh or Cry because its such a great opportunity but i'll be missing so many people :(

P/s/s: My ankle was sprained the previous 2 years when Valentines was around the corner!!! Thank god no more sprained ankle this year LOL

The Land of smiles

Honestly, the trip was very very last minute . Was decided and was settled within a few weeks to a month, if i am not wrong :p It was a very short trip but we all truly enjoyed ourselves! I won't really elaborate much since Jun has already gone into the details in her blog. But here's my side of the story / trip / whatever you call it kay xD

Cheez & I decided that the best option would be to fly via plane from Singapore to Kuala Lumpur since, we're meeting Jun & Don there. It would've saved us 4 whole hours of traveling and the hassle of traveling to the Airport from KL city.

Our next plane to Bangkok was at 7 ish. * Thank goodness for online check-ins * So we literally went from the Arrival hall, met Jun & Don. Rushed to the ATM to get money and rushed to the Departure hall. *sweat*

Upon reaching the aiport, we got our transport settled, and were off to our hotel. Baiyoke Boutique hotel which was really comfy and affordable too ! Took a couple of hours to wash up, rest and get rejuvenated for the next half of the day! Which will be spent at MBK and Platinum Mall :D

And so the hungry & tired but excited four started their Adventure in the land of smiles.
*Bangkok dangerous the movie totally ruin the reputation of Land of smiles haha *

Headed on to Swensens for more ice cream , before dinner. Yes we eat desert before dinner cause we're cool like that :p

I love eating Roadside food stalls in other countries, it's only in such places that you really
get to try the real local delicacies and not in those posh restaurants!! See! i'm not that Atas after all hahahh~

There's this other dish, which is a must have for both Baby & I in Thailand. We had it at Krabi and it just keeps us coming back for more more more!! I had it the very next day so you'll have to watch out for the next post! You can also read Jun's version of the trip on her blog ! :p

Recently I went to catch a movie courtesy of omy, its a really freaky korean horror movie. It's kinda like the blair witch project, if you've seen it. If you haven't go watch it.. it's a love hate horror movie as well, you either love it or hate it.. This korean flick is called The Haunted House Project (told you it was similar lol even the name is so similar).

So anyways i'll leave a liiiitle bit on what the movie was roughly about, without revealing too much, I mean after all, it's isn't scary unless you experience it yourself don't u think? >:D

Over the past 42 years, six people have gone missing, eight people have died "accidently" and eleven cases of murder have occurred in a haunted deserted house somewhere in Gyeonggi Province. The home is now banned for all persons to enter. Nevertheless, 3 members of an abandoned house exploring club and 3 staff members of a broadcasting company go into the deserted house. All of them disappear without trace. Only a video is left behind .

Actually that's pretty much it, just a short synopsis which IS actually the movie in a nutshell. I feel that some parts of the movie abit unrealistic.. however with that being said it's still dam scary..So how was it unrealistic? how was it scaring us out of our trousers? you be the judge, see it for yourself... if you dare :D

with my entire family. Or even celebrated Children 's Day. Been a long time since
i even felt like a kid anymore. Especially being caught up with School and now, Intern.

I've been really really caught up with life and a lot of things. But what i'm going to tell

Granada Espada Renaissance Ball

Thanks to Nuffnang once again, i was invited to the Granada Espada Renaissance ball at the Raffles Hotel. Basically, this ball is the launch of their latest version of the Online game for Professionals who have been supporting and playing the game.

That's why it's called '' Professional Gaming '' getit? :p

So anyways, the purpose of this event is not only to let players mingle around with each other, but there was also an Auction held for a chosen Charity where professional players get to bid for exclusive In-game and Out-game items.

The event was as classy and exclusive as it can get, Food was amazing with red and white wine going around together with Salmon and a tinge of Caviar on top. Deliciously amazing!

And you even get really pretty girls dressed up as characters from the game!

Andd........... The Auction Begins!

The total amount received from the entire auction is $7000 + with most of the auction items being exclusive In- Game weapons and NPC. We were all seriously amazed. hehe But after all, what is professional gaming without Professional items right?

Too many 3D movies going on now a days , agreed? And most of the time, the 3D version tends to turn out a dissapointment.

I don't know about you, but out of all the 3D movies i've caught,there was only two i felt worth watching compared to the Normal non 3D version.

And thanks to Nuffnang & Disney for giving me the opportunity to see a 29 Mins sneak preview! I've added something new to my Movies wall of fame! With many kisses and special thanks to OMY, i was given the privilege to go and tour the event on the very first day! I Remembered last year, on Halloween night. It was raining heavily and i took a taxi to Sentosa, full of hope and excited. Only to find out tickets were fully sold out.

Charlie meets up with his brother (Sam) each night to play catch and talk. Then, a girl comes into Charlie's life and he must choose between keeping a promise he made to Sam, or going after the girl he loves.

Well, so yes it is freaky that he's been meeting his brother's ghost for five years, and it gets kinda creepier haha but creepy in a good way i guess :p Anyways, This movie is totally heat wrenching and sad , but yet so meaningful.

Noooo!!!! Keep your hands off my man!!!!! >:(

After watching the movie,I feel that,there's a certain tenderness about the story that explores letting go and taking chances … a film whose impact is greater than its storyline promises.

How amazing and coincidental that we're got a song for ourselves just like that. And, yes i still do remember that 21st night of September two years back. It's scary to know how two years have passed by so quickly in a blink of an eye. & honestly, Im not really good with words. But ,I love you & for everything you've been through with me, the tears, the laughter, joys and especially THE DISTANCE it was all worth it.

Just last week, baby came down from KL to join me as my date for my Cousin's wedding ceremony. It's been awhile since i attended someone's wedding ceremony, especially someone close to me, but
It'll be pretty scary when friends or people around me start getting married too.

Hey guys, sorry if i've been taking my time to post. I've been real busy with school and just started working part time abit. I work in Holland Village, so if you frequent that place, you might just bump into me ;)

Anyways, Today's post is specially dedicated to all my ladies out there! Sorry guys, but i guess your turn will come soon :p You know how men loves a confident women? Got invited to the product launch of the Kotex Luxe party, courtesy of Nuffnang of course! It was held at the one of the really top floors of Orchard Central, and Heaven's Loft ! Really pretty place, when i walked in, i felt as though i was in Girl haven . Hehehe Don't know what i mean?

Vampires SUCK!!

Yes i'm talking about the upcoming movie. & you know what I think? This movie was probably directed by a whole crew of people who has been trying to find a way to stop this whole vampire madness! or in a not so nice way, HATES VAMPIRES AND THINK THEY SUCK! From Twilight to Vampire Diaries ! Even i can't seem to handle it ! Doesn't help much that, i've a hardcore Edward Cullen fan as my sister!!

But of course it isn't for their hate of the the whole vampire Hoo-Haa that they've created the movie! ( Yeah Right! ) Vampire Suck , comes from the same directors that brough all of you
' Disaster Movie ' and ' Meet the Spartans '

And if you haven't watched those to, please do run away and hide back to your corner! xD
Because they're both super hilarious , do watch if you get a chance to ! Also If you love
' Scary Movie 1, 2, 3 and 4 ' you prolly won't regret watching this too! :D

SO it really is pretty obvious. Scratch that, i mean Darn-Straight-in-your-face obvious that the movie is an 80mins spoof of the oh so famous and awesome movie of all times 'Twilight' (oh please sense the sacarsm haha ) Oh and of course, people like Tiger Woods got pulled in as well! I wonder why they never thought of putting in a spoof of Justin Bieber HAH!

Well, so what is this all about?

THIS is part of the National Environment Agency (NEA) anti-littering campaign targeted at us youths! The agency unveiled its Litter Munchers, which are actual litterbins which have been embellished and given a unique personality to help engage the youths to take up ownership to keep their surrounding environment clean.

I don't know about you, but when i saw the bins, i got pretty curious and drawn to it. YES a rubbish bin ! But a cute one okay! hahaha! I took a picture with it too!

There are five (5) Litter Muncher personalities: Munster Muncher, Robo Muncher, Inda Bingo Muncher, ETrash Muncher and Pengbin Muncher.

See! cute right! I mean the Bin :p

Stranger Danger!!

Sorry for the lack of updates from cheezo recently, this blog really seem to be slowly transforming into my own personal blog, instead of ours. Ahah. Anyways, there's this incident that happened to us while i was in KL last week, which i feel i ought to talk about and

Create some awareness

So, it was pretty much my last day there, and Cheez had to return his car, because his parent's needed it. We decided to look up for car rental services, as i have to make my way to KLIA
at 5 in the morning , the very next day. So hee went ahead to search for car rental services online,
and got a number from this certain private dealer. And went ahead to call and make plans.

Their cheapest deal was a saga for about 180 for two days. Reasonably cheap. Then we went ahead to talk about how to go about with the transaction and et cetra. The woman on the line was an Indian lady. And she said, we don't deliver the car to hotels ( We were putting up at one that night ) only to a house. So i would need a house address. Anyone's would do, even a friend's.

Weird right?

I mean what about tourists who want to rent cars?? How are they gonna get a house address to rent the car with? Lol! So , Cheez had to explain that his girlfriend (me) is not Malaysian and we're putting up at a hotel. So after much consideration, she reluctantly agreed. Then we offered to pick the car up from the office, and she said if we want to pick the car up, we'd have to leave behind our motorbikes behind.

??????????????

If we had a motorbike , TELL ME WHY would we even be needing a car?

Okay, so that time we thought, oh! maybe because they've had many cases of their own cars being stolen and really wants to take every bit of precaution to prevent that from happening.
Given them the benefit of a doubt. She said, payment of the car would me in CASH, upon arrival and the car would reach us at about 9.30 PM.

And so we waited

and waited

and waited even more

And the clock striked 11 PM, something was amiss. So cheez called back the Indian lady who gave him the number of the person sending the car over. And gave directions , he said the delay was due to a traffic jam. Traffic jam from kepong when he could have taken the highway to Damansara? And pardon me, a traffic jam at 10pm at night?

It was almost 11.30 and the person delivering the car called, the first voice he heard was a 'hello' with the woman's voice! The exact woman that he called who was apparently at her office ! Then on the next 'Hello' it was a guy's tone. They said they have arrived and asked us to head down.

Our hotel 's reception was on the second floor, thus we were able to look down and observe. We saw them getting out of a big white car. But we didn't see any SAGA ! The windows of the Big white car were VERY TINTED. Two indian man got out and said over the phone . ' We left the car at the Shell petrol station nearby, get into the white car and we'll take you there.

IT CAME CLEAR THAT IT WAS ALL A HOAX!

I told cheez to switch his phone off, and got the reception to make sure that they let non of the people into the hotel. We got one of the receptionist to take a look at the window, observe the men and explained the situation to him.

The next day, we rented a car from HAWK . A proper car rental company, for another SAGA, which was more expensive of course but definitely saved us the scare and alot of trouble.

Imagine what would happened if we entered that car... We should have found it odd from the moment they told us that they needed a house address.

To rob the house???

So guys, please me wary and aware. The company is Called 'DM Holidays' And they're one big hoax !It's sad that because of people like these, reliable private dealers get their businesses affected as well. For us, it's a lesson learnt. No private dealers for us anymore!! We could have gotten robbed and killed or kidnapped? Who knows?? Even until now thinking about the incident sends shivers down my spine. So everyone, please be alert and wary of them and many others out there just like them. It pays to look for for the little and tiniest details while making such transactions. Or maybe paying abit more for a reliable company really is just worth the money after all.

Hiii. Omggggawd. I haven't been blogging in here for ages. No, Im not being lazy and it's not an excuese either. Because School and O levels has really been getting to me, I haven't been blogging long either.

But anyways, today.I've come back to tell you darlings that i will *poof* from this blog, until my O levels are over which will be on the 11th Of November, Yes. I know it's a really long break indeed but I cannot afford to have any distractions, these couple of months and I d hope that you my readers will be able to understand. Oh,It's not overrrrr. Before im leave and start to burry my head in books and come back as a nerd. I'm gonna do a post about my realllllllly short trip down to KL last last week. :p I was an impromtu trip, i actually went there for a Funeral , my great great grand Aunt passed away.
But still, i never fail to take some time off to meet my kawan and makan kakis whenever im up, since im hardly in KayElle! Baby had been amazing. During the 4 days spent there, he woke up as early as 6 ish to drive my family around. awwww. *sayang* xD I only had one day to meet everyone. So here's our journey.

Baby came to pick me up, from the hotel in the morning, and we headed to Pudu to have this reallly awesome Beef Noodles, with his father and brother. No pictures la. Abit weird right. In front of his father, but if you want to know where you can ask baby x) Then we picked his friend up from setapak and drove alllllllll the way to Sunway to have lunch with Jun Jun! We went to Pasta Zanmai

Sooo, im back to blog. Hellllo. I know my blog is collecting dust, and filled with cobwebs already! haha. Anyways, last weekend was all planned out, i was supposed to be in KL celebrating my birthday with the SS Gang & Baby on Saturday at Chris Thoo's houseee! But due to school and O levels, i wasn't and wont be allowed out of the country until O levels are done! (sigh) Soo, i didnt get to celebrate my burffday with them. However, i did have an amazing time. Because baby came down during the weekends to celebrate it with me! :D And also , there was dinner with some of my close friends and baby at Dallas And then, Dinner with baby & Family at Hilltop Japanese Restaurant in Jurong! okaaay. Stop telling me that my blog is dead, bcause i know that. xD I have been too busy with school to update T___T But that's such an excuese right! lol. Seriously, i never knew the O level year was this tough! Okay but anyways enough with the craps. I miss blogging so much, and miss chatting with the NNCB people! Gosh *Tears away. Nostalgia! Okay but school has been rather interesting with their moral value talks and what not, and i have decided to share this with you people because it dosen't only apply to us students but to everyone! You might have heard of this.

The Seven Habits Of Highly Effective People!
(Yes, we were taught this in school, lol)

It's actually from a Self-Help book, written by this person called Stephen R.Covey and The book lists seven principles that, if established as habits, are supposed to help a person achieve true interdependent effectiveness. Very deep right!! Haha But let me elaborate, and trust me.Like i did, You will find that somehow these 7 habits are quite true. And it does help.

Habit One: Be Proactive
(Principles of Personal Choice)

You can either be proactive or reactive when it comes to how you respond to certain things. When you are reactive, you blame other people and circumstances for obstacles or problems. Being proactive means taking responsibility for every aspect of your life. Initiative and taking action will then follow. Note: This first habbit is the Key to unlocking the other habbits!

Habit Two: Begin with the End in Mind
(Principles of Personal Vision)

Begin with the End in Mind is about setting long-term goals. Decide where you want to finish and work towards your goal. Where you want to end up. Because life is a race. When you Begin with an end in mind. You are starting yourself off with a goal and the future that you want to end up with. Your future is in your own hands.

Habit Three: Put First Things First
(Priorities)

This habit describes a framework for prioritizing work that is aimed at short-term goals, at the expense of tasks that appear not to be urgent, but are in fact very important. So we all know that valentine's coming up really soon! And ive got friends preparing to take their girlfriend's out. Ive gone valentine's day present shopping with a couple of girlfriends already. &I have already bought baby's and sent to him already. Okay, so like to be honest, i think that valentines day is not necessary. Everyday should be valentines day. True? Of course im not expecting you guys to be dressed to the nines and have expensive dinners with each other everyday..I dont know why but people nowadays are condeming valentines.As for me I think we should still celebrate. But a day after the actual day perhaps? =x Save Money!! xD

1. The hour of our lives we waste every year in the greeting card aisle, looking for the perfect one.
( So true!! I just did this last weekend. &After 1hour of pondering , i decided not to buy =x )

2. It’s such a rip-off. The overnight tripling of the price of roses & chocolates !!!

3. Single or coupled, if you didn't make reservations, your options for going out to dinner are limited to McDonalds.

4. The 24/7 romantic comedy marathon on TV during the month of February. Too much of a good thing is not good right? lol

I celebrate valentines day. But i havent had the chance to do so last year. And I guess this year too. Wonder why?

CNY had been awesome for me!! How bout you guys? Though the CNY holidays in singapore is like only 2 days! I forgot how the malaysian CNY holidays are! But it's definitely longer than ours!My family dosent have to go around visiting. Because my grans is like the eldest, we all gather at my grans place which is my place. And just wait for visitors to come. And give us our Ang Paos =x So yes, that makes my house very crowded during CNY! lol but i like it when the whole family gathers together! :) How often a year do we get to do that!

hahah! Different Family has their own way of celebrating CNYs! It depends on the dialect too.
Cantonese Families usually gives 2 Ang Paos per couple. While the Hokkien ones, just give one to represent both. Also, in Lou Yee Sang or Lou Hei. Each Ingredient represents something. Like the crackers represent Gold Coins! xD Interesting eh! There's so much about CNY's that i do not know of! Maybe you guys can tell me if you know any!! Meanwhile,Here's how i celebrated my CNYs! Hey sweets & Sugars! I know , i haven't been updating and many have been complaining!! Im so sorry! It's the second week of school and Im still pretty much adjusting to the whole O level's year thing! So ive been very tired lately! Once im all settled and adjusted. I'll definitely go back to blogging more often :DSince i hadrly update bout what's been happening in my lifee, i shall do that for today's post aite? :D So, yesterday! I went out with a bunch of hawtties to NAFA & LaSalle's Open House. They're both private art instituitions which offers diplomas in Art Management. Graphics & Design and even Theatre Art , the one that im interested in. And many more! So go & check them out okay! :D hahah! Took alot of piccies too! Gosh, how long has it been since i layed my hands on a storybook! No. Not any other normal storybook! But a Fairytale! A nostaligic feeling overcame me as i thought back of the times that i would have my favourite disney Fairytale read to me before i hit the sheets! And like every other little girl, i loved those typical fairytale stories where the servant girl or girl trapped in a high tower, would wait for the arrival of their prince charming to save them. And then become a princess and live happily ever after! I dont know why, but i remembered that my favourite was

Cinderella

Everyone should know the storyline of Cinderella, no? Yaaaa. The one with the glass slipper! Remember?? I love the story! Used to, and still do! But now that i've grown out of fairytales. I find fairytales all too predictable, but still? Deep down in the heart of every girl there is a place for us to dream. And yes, i wanted to be Cinderella, i would get mom to buy princess like dresses and loved to wear them. Then as i grew a little older, it wasnt so much of the princess image anymore. I wanted a prince charming, I wanted my own happily ever after. Till this day, a certain hidden part of me still longs to be Cinderella. I would gladly be trapped in it. Who wouldnt want a happily ever after? (:

Heyya. Firstly, i wana wish everyone a

Happy New Year!

Finally, its 2009. Not something we all want to hear, but a new year means we're all gonna
get one year older! Xp Omg. I feel so old all of a sudden! hahah! So, talking about the New
Year,it reminds me that i would have to come up with my own set of Resolutions for the year
2009! Writing down our resolutions is one thing. Keeping to our resolutions is another!

To be honest, every New Year i would write one long list of resolutions! And after one month
forget about it and it ends up into the rubbish bin. Yes, i am guilty of that! But im sure many
are too!! So this year, i have decided that i will work towards sticking to my resolutions!And for those thattoo have resolutions but can't really stick to it. We'll try this out & do this together yea? *winks!

Trust me, the sense of acomplishment when you've completed a resolution is something money
can't buy! (:

Instead of telling you guys how to keep to your New Years Resolutions, heres something for a change!

How To Make New Years Resolutions You Will Actually Keep

*before i start, i would advice you to keep your resolution short and sweet. Perhaps just 2 would be good. A long list of resolutions will get very messy.

1.Make A Draft

Create a rough draft of all the things you would like to do in 2009. Create categories such as Finances, Health, Loce, Spiritual and Others. Use a piece of paper or type it into the computer.
Write out a list of of resolutions and from the list, Choose 2 or 3 resolutions you think are important and focus on those 2/3.

2.Clarify Your Goals

This is THE most important step. When clarifying your goals, be SPECIFIC and be REALISTIC. Instead of saying ''I want to loose 15kg in one month'' try ''i want to loose 3kg in 2 weeks'' And
instead of saying ''Shop less'' try '' I will cut my shopping trips down to twice a month''

3.Make Achievable Goals

Choose goals which you will be able to achieve and feel pride over. Like Read a new book every month. These goals are much easier to achieve and succeed at then daily goals or weekly goals. Make yourself a success by choosing goals wisely.

P.s. Always take a step back from time to time and ask yourself if you are on track with your goals!! Nothing is ever set in stone with your New Year's resolutions, which could be one of the main reasons why people slack on them so often.(: By checking on your personal goals, you are allowing yourself to get back on track should you stop at any point in your process to keep to your resolutions!

Also!! Making a plan and gathering a group of people will like-minded resolutions can make a world of difference.

EG. If one of your resolutions is to quit smoking, surround yourself with others who have the very same goals. This kind of a support system can be an incredible help whenever you feel as though you need inspiration and that extra boost of will power.*winks

And finally, time for my own set of New Year Resolutions! xp

1.Work Hard to achieve atainable grades for my upcoming O levels
2. Learn to plan out my time for Family,Baby,School and Others
3.Cut down shopping sprees to Once a Month

Hey dears,I am back for a little bit, Firstly! i wana wish everyone a Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year! No! I am not lagging in time, There are 12 days of Christmas Mind you! (:

Im pretty upset that Parents have been really making things rather difficult for me. &dissapointed that i havent had the chance to spend christmas with my boy.But i did have a great time spending christmas with my whole family with a christmas party @ my place!
Time really flies, and we'll all be back in school this coming Friday. I Gasped when i was reminded that school is starting in 4 days time. :O

On a lighter note, I am very very Happy to announce that i have Made it for my 'N' Levels with
a score of 7 points! And am very happy to be returning back to school for my Final year to take my 'O' levels! :D Sigh, Last year in secondary school. To be honest, i am rather scared for the upcoming year.

The uncertainties.

Will i do well for my 'O' levels? Will i be able to cope? Will me & Cheez be able to still make time for each other? Are we strong enough to survive this year?
I have faith that we are, with the help of god. But somehow there are still uncertainties. And i am a little afraid. I know that he'll be there for me no matter what. But i still need some assurance from time to time.

Who dosent?.

It will definitely be a huge huge sigh of relief if things really go my way and the year passes well for me. But the year hasn't even started. Anyways, till i start blogging again with a propper post on New Years Day! I shall start planning out a New Years Revolution! ;p

okay shoot mee, it's been forever since i last updated! haha, Well i just found out that The Nuffnang Christmas Party is like only for 18 & Above. *Tears! Sometimes, it sucks to be sixteen! Overprotective parents

Nope, aint no love topic today, but because of some issues, i decided to talk about something some of us had experience / are experiencing,even at the age of 20-25 or maybe older. This is gona be quite a lengthy one!! Overprotective Parents. What they always say, 'we just want the best for you' and that is usually what the parents are actually trying to accomplish. Some parents know where to cut off a child’s limits but some parents go to far and don’t give their children enough privileges. They set super early curfews, dont't allow you to date (when you are actually old enough), Always calling you when you head out, and many more unreasonable rules. So what are the effects of an over protective parent?

Too Sheltered, Not ready for the world
Scenario ONE

Daughter: 'Mom! Dad!,its the holidays, and instead of wasting My time ROTTING at home,i found this awesome job, which pays really well!! *excited!! ' (expectin mom/dad to be HAPPY for her)

Mom/Dad: ' No , you go cancel that job application NOW. We're not allowing you to work,
you either work or study! Your choice. ''

Daughter: ''But its only during the holidays!! I do not wish to do nothing at home, i want to work and earn some form of income for myself! I want to learn, ''

Mom/Dad: ''You dont know what the outside world is like, you are too immature,Now go cancel that job application.''

Well,Overprotection can cause kids to be unready for the real world. When the kids do get out into the real world, they don’t know how to handle it. They sometimes react very seriously. Some have panic attacks and are more likely to have panic disorders when they get older. This is caused by not being able to do things by themselves while they grew up. Their parents are always there making sure they are all right and that they weren’t experiencing any pain or discomfort. When children grow up, they need to make their own mistakes and experience failure a few times. No one is perfect, everyone has to mess up at some point.

Scenario TWO

Daughter: Dad, Mom. Im sixteen now. And there's this certain someone that likes me, and because i respect you, i come forward and ask you for your permission to accept him. He is a nice person, with good education and background. And all of my friend's parents have accepted their son/daughter's other half.

Mom/Dad: No! I dont want you having a boyfriend. You 'friends' are not my children. I. DO. NOT. CARE! You know all along that i have disaproved. NO!

Daughter: But mom, you said i could have a boyfriend at 16. And now you are telling me otherwise? And because i respect you, i come to you. Knowing very well that somehow you will reject, but still.....

Mom/Dad: If you continue with him, i will go LOOK for that boy myself and get him away from you. YOU ARE NOT EVEN TO HAVE, GUY FRIENDS,HEAR ME!?! (friends that are guys!)
Daughter: Not even guy friends?...................

We become rebellious. we get tired of not being able to go with our friends or go places because ''we are too young''. Even though in some case the children are old enough and are capable of making good decision on their own. “We teens NEED to make our own decisions and make our own friends. We even need to do a certain amount of risk-taking. The parents' job is to facilitate these developmental stages, not try to delay or prevent them. I have observed that when parents are overprotective, teens are often over-rebellious.

We then go ahead and become rebellious, we go against their 'absurb rules' and start lying to them. Because we do not want to dissapoint them. AS MUCH as we do not want to lie to them, and AS MUCH as we want to share everything with them and tell them all the awesome things that happened, we CANT! And when they find out, they accuse us and call us LIARS and DO NOT TRUST US ANYMORE! How fair is that?!
ITS NOT LIKE WE ENJOY LYING TO THEM!!! But if we tell them the truth, they would not agree!! So what is the point of telling the truth to them?!? And when you try to talk to them and talk reason out with them, they actually come up with the stupidest reasons ever. ''You're not mature enough '' (when are we ever mature to you guys?) '' you cant go out,6pm its late'' . Any Reason just so You, will actually comply to their rules!

Overly Shy

Scenario THREE

Sarah, is always keeping to herself in school. she has no friends and dare not do anything, because she is always kept away from doing alot of things, because her parent's are afraid that she will get hurt. In other words, no life.

Some children become overly shy. This happens because the children are afraid of people and the real world because they were never given the chance to interact and develop their people skills!!! And they only keep to themselves. Because they are shy and not confident!!!

To Sum Things Up

Sometimes, its NOT good being over protective. Its normal to be protective but not OVER. Parents DO want the best for their children but, they need to understand that sometimes how we act , is not something that we want to do, we do not want to intentionally make them angry or purposely get on their nerves. We are NOT that sadistic!! We love our parents Very much! But,Sometimes i think they should ask themselves why , first before pointing their fingers at their children.

Parents should understand that young people have a right to be heard, but there are effective ways to go about making points and there are ways which are counterproductive. young people who are experiencing "smother love" should study their parents and try to understand their attitudes and motives. These kids should keep the lines of communication open and try to identify the influences which may cause parents to be uptight about some of their choices.

Once, i had a talk in school and was told that in a relationship, love is not all about your feeling for each other. Because feelings come and go.It is however impossible to define 'love'. Because love comes in different forms and we all have different definitions of it. So if feelings come and go.
How are we going to maintain that romance? Being in love is not easy, You each have to work at it in order to maintain and enjoy romance in your life. Here is how to maintain your relationship in a deep and meaningful way. You might want to try them! *winks

1.Truth
Truth is the ultimate and a great way to create connection with your partner.
For example, you might say "Sometimes I feel scared that we get so busy with other things that we forget about creating close moments together." Just share your true feelings and communicate. If you are concealing in your relationship, you will not feel connected, so consider making truth an ongoing priority in your life.

2.Appreciate
Take time to understand just what it is that you like about yourself, and your partner.
Appreciate whatever your partner does for you. As little it may be. Even an action as small as
getting you a glass of water. Shows that your partner cares and actually bothers to help you
get that glass. Appreciate them,like everyday is their last day on earth. :)

3.Listen
Each and everyone of us, im sure wants someone there to be our listening ear. Being with your partner, and really listening to them can be magical for you both. Hey guys, i am finally back. Yes , finally right? I have not blogged here in ages.I've so much to blog about.But before i start on anything, i wana apologise to my mom! Mom, i know that, over the years i have caused you much trouble and worries.And it's time i start to grow up,im 16, might be a tad rebillious at times. But this time, i really acknowledge that what i did was wrong. Halloween night itself and the day after halloween which was the very last day of the event! The main attraction of the event? The Halloween Tram Ride! Which i was unable to take on Halloween itself due to the over whelming response. So we headed back again the next day! I headed over with Sopida, Sister , Cousin and her friend.

On the tram, i sat with Sopida and beside me was a young couple about 17/18. Not even halfway during the tram ride, the boy took out a cig and lit it and started smoking! LIKE WHAT THE HECK! I have nothing against smokers! But HELLO? NOT DURING A TRAM RIDE!
Especially since this was the Halloween Extended route. There was close contacts to animals and grass all around. What if you accidentally drop the cig??? Anything can happen okay! So me and Sopida made comments like '' omg whos smoking! So smelly! '' they obviously heard but didnt give a hoot to what we were saying. People like you are INCONSIDERATE ASSES!!! And Obviously you didnt see the No Smoking Sign! ARE YOU BLIND?!! And while queuing for the tram, there was this other couple. I dont know what the heck they were doing but the guy was LICKING the girls neck! Omg! GET A ROOM PLEASE!! There are little kids around!!! *covers eyes* Please take your horny stuff somewhere else. Toilet or something. Not while queuing for a tram!! Anyways enough of inconsiderate asses! More pictures! ^^

Nuffnang Nokia Silent Halloween Party! He told me to take a print screen
because he did his hair up. And its only on rare occasions that he gels up and
does his hair. Hmm. hahah

KL Trip

Soo, i haven't been updating recently because i was away in KL. I have so many pictures, and had so many events going on, i am at a lost of where to start! Well, as expected time flies, and i am once again back in Singapore away from baby :( Basically, i headed to KL with my family. They went there for shopping, I went there for baby and to meet up with a number of other bloggers. This is gona be one long post, with pictures galore! So enjoy~

I took Bus Odessey to KL. The ride was both comfortable and entertaining. Each seat comes with entertainment , like a TV where we can watch a selection of movies and play games. Each coach comes with a service attendant something like an air stewardess on a bus. Meals are also served. What's best is that there is also WIFI on board the bus, So you can go online during your 5 hour journey from Singapore to KL or vice versa.

After 5 hours..i opened the curtains and was greeted by this view...
Of course, it told me that i have arrived in KL
and am now very very much nearer to baby. It was pretty late
after we checked into the hotel. I stayed at Crown Princess Hotel
at Ampang Park. Didnt get a chance to meet baby that day as he
headed back to his hometown. We then headed to KLCC Suria to shop a little.

Saturday, Day Two
Baby picked me up in his car, i was so glad that i finally get to see baby again.
As planned, baby drove us up to Berjaya Hills! And that place is beautiful...
First stop, French Village!

Next we headed to the Japanese Tea Garden at Berjaya Hills
and then to the Rabbit and Deer Farm!!

After that, we drove down back down to One Utama and met up with Chris Gor!!!
And also to have lunch, at Seoul Gardens!

After that, we parted with chris gor, and baby drove me to Sepang!
Yeah so we drove from KL to Bukit Tinggi then back to KL and then to
Sepang Goldcoast to catch the sunset...No pictures.!
Cause its our moment. :P
Then, baby drove me back to my hotel.....

Sunday, Day Three

Baby came to pick me up , then we headed to pick chris up!!
And then we went for Dim Sum, and met this lovely couple!

After morning breakfast, we made our way to pavilion early to
meet Jun Jun! ^^ Chris and Baby took me to try Baskin Robins!
Yes, we dont have baskin robins in singapore! we are that deprived!!
And then junjun came, and headed off for some Sakae Sushi!!

After lunch, we headed to One Utama to meet up with the rest!
And then to the Curve for dinner at TGIF.

Of course, all the camera's were out and we were cam whoring alot!!

Yennie gave us something, so sweeet!!
After dinner, we headed out for more cam whoring sessions!

The guys as usual were acting damn gay!!!!

Monday, Day Three

Baby brought me to A&W!!
Bring A&W back to singapore :(

Then we headed to meet a couple of his friends, then went off to Find
Tze Lih at Port Dickson!! Wanted to go for dinner with him
but was unable to due to time constraint!(He FFK us!!! sob) And forgot to ake Pictures
with him as well! xD He took us to the beach @ port dickson!
Cannot beat the beach at Sepang Goldcoast wei! haha
After that, baby and i headed to Zhi Cha for dinner! I think that has got to be
one of the best dinner ever! Though simple...

P.s. Baby, thankyou for everything that you have done for me for the
past 3/4 days. Driving me all over Kay Elle. And taking me to watch
the sunset at Sepang, though we didnt get a chance to in the end. But everything
felt so perfect. With or without the sunset. This trip was way
better than i thought it would be. I Love You so so much and i will
never forget this trip ever. Am looking forward to further trips with
you baby and your trip down to Singapore.

The bad boy always gets the girl..nah!

Its only 2 days to my KL trip and about 4 days till i meet them awesome people,I am seriously thrilled and cannot wait! So yeap, im back to blog properly again! Well im sure you all have heard of the phrase '' the bad boys always gets the girls '' and why is that so? Well, sometimes it tends to be true.Im sure every girl at one point of their life would have had a crush on a bad boy. Theres just something about bad boys that attracts girls in general.

I feel that we girls are attracted to bad boys, but we do not treat them as boyfriend material. In my point of view. We actually do like nice guys! If not why do girls always complain that they '' cant seem to find any nice guys '' or '' why are all the nice guys taken ''. There are pros and cons to this as well.

Perhaps we also like to have a sense of security and some girls dont seem to have that a lot with nice boys. Nice boys usually end up calm and shy or just laid back. They wouldnt really have the balls to do anything if a guy walks by and grabs your ass! True? But one of those bad boys will go right after them and we girls love to be protected.

But i feel that why girls tend to like bad boys is because they want to be 'The One' to change that boy. Thats when you really know that you love someone and that he loves you. If they can change for you. But it usually dosent happen. Yes maybe in movies. hahah but not reality.

In the end, i feel that it is usually the good ones that ends up with the girl ! Because when you love someone, you will love him for who he is. laidback, intimidated, shy or not. you will overlook his flaws and still come to love him. Yes, a badboy gives us quite a challenge and is exciting and unpredictable. But in the end, Nobody can sustain a serious relationship, that is always exciting or unpredictable. Personally, i wouldnt mind a mix of both. *wink . haha but, i've seen my fair shair of bad boys and jerks. I would rather a nice boy. And i found mine already! haha

So cant wait.!

This post is gonna be a short one, and no its not another one of my love post, hahah. Well basically, Boy am i so glad that im heading to KL this weekend! I get to meet up with baby and also a crazy but awesome bunch of people!!

Why girls think of their wedding day!

I was on the phone with baby a few days back, when my 13 year old sister suddenly exclaimed that she has chosen 'Canon' as her wedding song. Which made baby ask , ''why do all girls think about their wedding day?'' To which i replied, ''dont guys think of their wedding day too?'' I was quite shocked when he said ''no, guys don't think of their wedding day'', he never thought of his wedding day. He then asked his friend beside him if he has ever thought of his wedding day and he replied no too.

Well, basically for girls , our heads are filled with images of our wedding day. Parents dream of seeing their little girl walking down the aisle in a beautiful wedding gown.While I'm sure parents equally dream of their sons eventually getting married, it is a bit less exciting to plan for the day they will finally get to wear that suit and leather shoes. =x

Another thing to keep in mind is the constant barrage of images we see our lives which place us all on the inevitable path towards marriage. Barbie, the symbol of unattainable wealth, beauty, success, and happiness always looked her most beautiful in her long white wedding gown as she walked down the self made constructed aisle in our ''ceremonies'' to Ken, her handsome groom.

Most books, television shows, movie, or song that is marketed towards girls always focuses on falling in love, getting married, and living happily ever after. True??From Cinderella and Prince Charming, to Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise, we are so called 'brain washed' with the idea that we will never be truly happy until we find that perfect man and walk down the aisle.

So remember, girls are not obsessed with getting married because we want to be. We think of our wedding day because since we were born, fairytales and love stories has already painted a beautiful image of how a girl would be on her wedding day. It is also said that on a girl's wedding day. A girl would feel as though she is the most beautiful person on earth. And also because girls are more emotional. Every girl wants to be love and wants to marry their ''prince'' which in other terms is their future husband. The one they love. So they look forward to the day that they will marry ''The One'' and ''live happily after''. But that's another topic. So now that i've explained why girls think of their wedding day. Any of you guys out there care to explain why boy's do not think of their wedding day? xD
